About the course
My son is going to grow up in a completely different world that is filled with generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, LLama, etc.). I think this is a world of possibility, creativity, and deep thought that will enrich the way we think and solve problems. I want to make sure that my son is set up for success in this new world and understands how to use generative AI in a way that helps him learn, create, and solve problems. The consensus
Every one of the 20 reviews we read gave it 4★ or more. This is the most-upvoted one (1 vote).
“This learning is absolutely impressive and inspiring. It makes you want to discover things anew and let go of simple question/answer games. Thank you very much.”
Coursera's 4.7 comes from 120 ratings. Of those, 1.7% are 1–2★.
Starisk reads the reviews learners voted most helpful, and weights each by the square root of its votes: a review with 80 upvotes counts about five times one with 2. Unvoted reviews are not skipped out of laziness — by this model they carry no evidence that other students endorsed them.
That measures what the most-endorsed reviews say, not “true quality.” The rating distribution above is the whole population, so you can see the sample next to it.
